How Much Does an Extra Track Credit Cost on ORB Entertainment? | Help Center

Extra ORB track credits cost ₦250 quarterly, ₦500 half-yearly, or ₦1,000 annually. Learn how to pay and how extra active tracks increase renewal.

Need to release more music than the track credits included in your ORB Entertainment plan? Artists on a paid plan can pay for additional track credits through their funded ORB Wallet or supported payment providers.

The price of one extra track credit depends on your active subscription billing cycle:

  • Quarterly (3 months): ₦250 per extra track credit
  • Half-yearly (6 months): ₦500 per extra track credit
  • Annual (12 months): ₦1,000 per extra track credit

Legacy monthly subscriptions show a price of ₦83 per extra track credit per month. New paid subscriptions begin with quarterly billing.

ORB shows your exact price and total before payment. You can pay from funded Wallet balance; if funding is needed, use the supported payment provider available for your country. Nigerian NGN payments use Paystack, while supported countries outside Nigeria use Flutterwave in the mapped checkout currency. At renewal, an enabled saved-card method can pay the combined plan and extra-track charge.

What is an ORB track credit?

One track credit covers one approved track. A one-song single requires 1 credit, while a five-song EP requires 5 credits.

Creating or editing a draft does not consume a credit. When you submit a release, ORB reserves the required credits. The credits are charged only after ORB approves the release. ORB reviews submitted releases within 24 hours; streaming services then control their own processing and final availability.

How many track credits are included?

  • Free: 1 one-time track credit and one release creation
  • Basic Artist: 5 track credits per billing cycle
  • Artist Plus: 5 track credits per billing cycle
  • Label & Team: 15 track credits per billing cycle

Paid-plan credits replenish when the subscription renews. Referral credits are permanent bonus credits and work on every plan.

How to pay for extra track credits from Billing

  1. Sign in at orbentertainment.live.
  2. Open your artist portal and select Billing.
  3. Find the Track Credits card.
  4. Use the plus or minus controls to choose how many credits you need.
  5. Review the displayed price per credit and total cost.
  6. Select Buy from wallet. If the balance is too low, fund the Wallet with the available Paystack or Flutterwave checkout and return to complete the purchase.

The credits are added after payment succeeds. Billing also displays your included credits, reserved credits, referral credits, remaining balance, and any outstanding credits.

How do I fund my Wallet for extra credits?

Open Wallet, choose the funding option, enter the amount needed, and complete checkout. Nigerian NGN checkout is processed through Paystack. Supported countries outside Nigeria use Flutterwave with the mapped local currency at checkout. The funded value appears in your ORB Wallet in naira and can be used for track-credit purchases. For automatic renewal, a supported saved-card method can pay the renewal total directly through the configured provider.

Funded Wallet money is different from withdrawable music royalties. Wallet funding is for ORB purchases and cannot be withdrawn as royalty income.

How do extra tracks affect my renewal fee?

The displayed amount covers each extra track for the active billing cycle. At renewal, ORB counts the approved active tracks in your catalog. If that number is above the tracks included with your plan, the renewal fee increases by the extra-track cost for each track above the allowance.

The renewal calculation is:

Base plan renewal + number of active tracks above the included allowance × extra-track price for the billing cycle

Examples:

  • An Artist Plus account includes 5 tracks per billing cycle. If it has 7 approved active tracks at quarterly renewal, 2 are extra, so ₦500 is added to the base quarterly renewal: 2 × ₦250.
  • If the same account has 8 approved active tracks at annual renewal, 3 are extra, so ₦3,000 is added to the base annual renewal: 3 × ₦1,000.
  • Label & Team includes 15 tracks. If it has 15 or fewer approved active tracks at renewal, there is no extra-track increase.

Extra credits therefore are not a permanent one-time purchase for an active track. If the track remains active and the catalog remains above the plan allowance at the next renewal, it remains part of the renewal calculation.

Renewal can be paid using funded Wallet balance or the supported saved-card/payment-provider method. ORB includes the base plan fee and billable extra tracks in the renewal total and shows the amount in renewal notices and billing records.

What happens if my Wallet balance is too low?

ORB does not complete a Wallet purchase when the funded balance is too low. Fund the difference through the supported Paystack or Flutterwave checkout, then return to Billing and try again.

What happens if a release is rejected?

A release returned for corrections before approval does not consume its reserved credits. The reservation is released automatically. If an approved credit debit is later reversed, ORB refunds the exact eligible credits once.

Can Free artists buy extra track credits?

No. Extra-credit purchases are available on paid plans. Free artists receive one one-time track credit and must upgrade after using the Free release entitlement.

Where can I see extra track-credit charges?

Open Billing to see the current price, credit balance, payment options, and renewal information. Open Wallet and review Transaction History to see completed extra-credit debits, quantities, and remaining balance.

Do extra track credits reduce my royalties?

No. ORB takes 0% commission from royalties on every plan. Track-credit pricing pays for distribution capacity and does not change your royalty share.
