1. Distribute your release through ORB

2. Choose one release
Artist Plus and Label artists may opt in per release during submission or later from the Content ID hub.
3. Confirm exclusive rights
You must confirm that you exclusively control the recording and that it contains no ineligible, non-exclusive or uncleared material.
4. Track processing
ORB processes eligible requests. YouTube makes the final eligibility and claims decisions.
5. Track the request
Follow the release-level request status in ORB. A request does not connect or monetize your own channel and does not guarantee claims or revenue.
How YouTube Content ID works
Content ID is YouTube's rights-management system. YouTube may identify videos containing an eligible submitted recording and apply a policy or claim, but matches, claims and monetization are determined by YouTube.
