Track credits are ORB Entertainment's simple and transparent system for managing how many tracks you can distribute. Here's a complete breakdown of how it works.
## What Are Track Credits?
Every time you submit a release, each track in that release uses 1 track credit. Track credits control how many tracks you can submit during your billing cycle.
## How Many Credits Do I Get?

- **Free plan**: You get 1 track credit — enough for your first release with 1 track. Credits do not renew. To distribute more music, upgrade to a paid plan.
- **Artist plan**: You receive 5 track credits every billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annual). Credits reset on each renewal.
- **Label & Team plan**: You receive 10 track credits every billing cycle. Credits reset on each renewal.
## What Happens When I Run Out of Credits?

If you've used your 1 credit, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan to submit more tracks.
### Paid Plans (Artist / Label & Team)
Paid plan artists can continue submitting even after using all their credits. Your credits will go negative — this is called **outstanding credits**. You won't be blocked from releasing music.
## How Are Outstanding Credits Charged?
Extra tracks beyond your included credits are charged at a prorated rate based on your billing cycle:

The annual price per extra track is ₦1,000, and shorter billing cycles are prorated from this.
## When Do I Pay for Outstanding Credits?
You have several options:
1. **Pay immediately after submission** — After submitting a release that uses extra credits, you'll see a prompt to pay the fee right away from your wallet.
2. **Pay anytime from the billing page** — Go to your Billing page and click "Pay Now" next to the outstanding amount.
3. **Monthly subscribers: 7-day deadline** — Monthly subscribers have 7 days to pay. After that, it's automatically charged from your wallet. If your wallet doesn't have enough funds, it rolls into your next billing.
4. **Wait for next renewal** — If you don't pay early, outstanding credits are automatically included in your next renewal bill.
## How Is My Renewal Bill Calculated?
Your renewal amount includes three components:
**Renewal Total = Base Plan Price + Extra Active Tracks + Outstanding Credits**
### Example 1: Artist Plan (Monthly)
- Base plan: ₦5,000/month
- You have 5 included tracks. You distributed 8 tracks total.
- Extra active tracks: 3 × ₦84 = ₦252
- Outstanding credits (tracks submitted beyond credits): 2 × ₦84 = ₦168
- **Total renewal: ₦5,000 + ₦
