How Long Does It Take for My Release to Go Live? | ORB Entertainment News
Learn about ORB Entertainment's release review timeline — from submission to going live on streaming platforms.
One of the most common questions we receive from artists is: **"How long will my release be under review?"** Here's a clear breakdown of what to expect after you submit your music.
## The Review & Release Timeline
### Step 1: Team Review (1–7 Days)
After you submit your release through the ORB Release Editor, our team manually reviews every submission. During this review, we check for:
- **Copyright compliance** — making sure your music doesn't contain unauthorized samples or copyrighted material
- **Audio quality** — ensuring your tracks meet platform quality standards
- **Metadata accuracy** — verifying your song title, artist name, genre, and other details
- **Cover art compliance** — checking that your artwork meets platform guidelines (3000x3000px, no blurry images, no social media logos, etc.)
This review process typically takes **1 to 7 days**. If our team needs additional information or finds an issue, you'll receive a notification.
### Step 2: Platform Delivery (7–14 Days)
Once your release passes our review, it's delivered to streaming platforms. Each platform has its own processing time:
| Platform | Typical Processing Time |
|----------|------------------------|
| Spotify | 2–5 days |
| Apple Music | 1–3 days |
| Audiomack | 2–5 days |
| Boomplay | 3–7 days |
| YouTube Music | 2–5 days |
| Tidal | 2–5 days |
| Deezer | 2–5 days |
| Amazon Music | 2–5 days |
Your music should be live on most major platforms within **7 to 14 days** after approval.
### Total Time: Up to 14 Days
From the moment you hit "Submit," the entire process — review plus platform delivery — typically takes **up to 14 days**. We recommend submitting your release at least **2 weeks before your desired release date** to ensure everything goes smoothly.
## Do Paid Plans Get Faster Processing?
Yes! Artists on the **Artist** and **Label** plans may experience faster review times. Paid plan submissions are prioritized by our team, which can reduce the review period.
## Tips to Avoid Delays
1. **Use high-quality audio files** — WAV or FLAC format is preferred
2. **Follow cover art guidelines** — 3000x3000px, no blurry images, no text-heavy designs
3. **Double-check your metadata** — Incorrect details can cause rejections
4. **Don't use copyrighted samples** — This is the #1 reason for rejection
5. **Submit early** — Give yourself at least 2 weeks before your release date
## What Happens If My Release Is Rejected?
If our review team finds an issue, your release will be marked as "Changes Requested" with specific notes on what needs to be fixed. You can contact our support team through the "Needs Documentation" category or create a new release with the corrections applied.
